Rawdati app — Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how the Rawdati mobile app handles personal data for nurseries, teachers, and parents. Rawdati processes this data on behalf of the child’s nursery, which decides what is recorded and who may see it. We follow the principles of Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
What we collect
Account details for teachers and parents (name, email or phone number, and role). Children’s information entered by the nursery: the child’s name and profile, and daily activity such as check-in and check-out, meals, naps, mood, and notes. Photos and videos of children uploaded by teachers. A device push-notification token so we can send you updates. We do not collect location, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking.
How we use it
We use this data only to provide the service: to show each child’s day to that child’s linked guardians and their classroom teachers, to send you notifications about updates and announcements, and to keep accounts secure. We never sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Children’s data
Information about a child is entered by the nursery and its teachers. A child’s profile, photos, and daily records are visible only to that child’s linked guardians and their classroom teachers — never publicly and never to other families. Photos and clips are shared with guardians under the nursery’s consent process. Guardians can ask the nursery, or contact us, to review or delete their child’s data.
Where data is stored and who processes it
Data is hosted with our infrastructure providers acting on our instructions: application hosting and database (Railway) and media storage for photos and video (Cloudflare). These providers process data only to run the service. We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
Retention
We keep personal data while the account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. When an account is closed, or on a valid deletion request, we delete the associated data within a reasonable period, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Guardians can exercise these rights on behalf of their children. Contact us and we will respond.
